Wayside House is situated halfway between Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon and can be found overlooking the Green in the pretty rural village of Whichford, some six miles north of Chipping Norton.

Wayside House is the perfect base to explore the classic Cotswold towns of Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Campden. The world famous gardens at Hidcote, Kiftsgate, Sezincote and Jacobean Chastleton, and the RSC at Stratford-upon-Avon are all an easy drive.

London is approximately 1½ hours away by car, 40 minutes from Oxford and 30 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon (RSC).

A popular area for cyclists and walkers. Whichford is on the The MacMillan Way and The Shakespeare Way.

In the village we have the well-known Whichford Pottery/The Straw Kitchen and an excellent pub, The Norman Knight, 100 yards across the Green. As well as the Cotswold Distillery, which is 1 mile away.

Soho Farmhouse is a 20 minute drive away situated in Great Tew, and Daylesford Farmshop is a 15 minute drive away.
